Agua de Guayaba

Ingredients

or 7 guavas

sugar

Instructions
Rinse the guavas in freshwater.
Cut the guavas in half.
Place the cut guavas in your blender jar.
Add half the sugar.
Fill the blender jar with water.
Blend until smooth, about 1 minute.
Pour the mixture into a half-gallon pitcher.
Add about 2 cups of water to fill the pitcher.
Stir.
Taste and add the rest of the sugar to if necessary before serving.
Notes
The juice from 1 lime adds a nice tang to the drink.
Served lightly chilled or over ice.
The drink will separate in the refrigerator just give it a good stir before serving.
